These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TagFake ("the Service") at https://tagfake.com, operated by an individual operator. The Service is offered to users worldwide and is not limited to any particular country or region. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The Service analyzes images attached to public X (formerly Twitter) posts using AI-generation detection algorithms, and presents the results as probabilistic indicators.
Analysis results are probabilistic indicators, not definitive verdicts of authenticity. The Service may produce false positives and false negatives. You must not rely on the Service as the sole basis for any consequential decision, whether legal, journalistic, financial, reputational, or otherwise. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
You may use the Service for personal, journalistic, research, or educational purposes consistent with applicable law. You may also share result page URLs publicly.
You must not use the Service to: (a) harass, defame, or discredit any individual based solely on Service output without independent verification; (b) circumvent usage limits or otherwise abuse the infrastructure; (c) submit URLs that you know to be unlawful in your jurisdiction; (d) systematically scrape Service output without prior permission; or (e) present Service output as if it were a definitive verdict of authenticity. Service output is a machine-derived probabilistic estimate about an image; it does not judge the lawfulness, credibility, or intent of the poster, the subject, or the account.
The Service is not available to users under 13 years of age. Users who are 13 or older but have not reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction must obtain consent from a parent or guardian before using the Service.
Images are served directly from the X CDN; the Service does not re-host or store original images. Generated heatmaps are derived works created for analytical purposes and may be served from storage controlled by the Service. If you believe a result page infringes your rights, please see Section 7 (Takedown Requests).
Rights holders and individuals affected by a result may request removal of a specific analysis result by emailing the address in Section 10 (Contact). Please include the result page URL and a brief explanation of the basis for your request. The operator aims to acknowledge receipt within 7 days (excluding weekends and Japanese public holidays) and may follow up for additional information. This is a target response time, not a guarantee of removal.
The operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. The limitations in this section do not apply to damages caused by the operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence.

While the Service is available worldwide, these Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, the operator's place of residence, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance. These Terms are prepared in Japanese and English; in the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Japanese version shall prevail.
The operator may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the date of the most recent revision. For material changes, the operator will set an effective date and provide advance notice by posting on the Service or by other appropriate means. By continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect, you agree to the revised Terms.
